What are Day Camps?

Day Camps are action packed weeks of fun and adventure for children aged 5-15 years. Starting every Monday at 9am, each week is packed full of over 30 different outdoor activities. Day Camps are non-residential and end each day at 5pm.

What makes Forest YMCA Day Camps so special?

In contrast to other holiday activities children are actively playing outdoors and the range of activities is great. Thank you for providing such a wonderful way of spending the summer holidays! My daughter enjoyed it very much!

Unlike some other day camp schemes, we don't have any hidden costs or fees for certain activities. Our advertised prices are all you'll have to pay.

OFSTED require that children under 8 are supervised at a ratio of 1 adult to 8 children. We are proud that we can offer this ratio to all children and young people in our care.

Who runs Day Camps?

The YMCA have been running Day Camps for over 16 years. Forest YMCA is a local charity that operates across North East London, affiliated to the International YMCA movement.

The team who run the Day Camps are carefully chosen for their enthusiasm and sense of fun and all our staff have extensive training and on-camp support. All our staff undergo strict vetting procedures before working at camp.

We have tried and tested policies and procedures that deal with every eventuality.
