Forest YMCA Day Camps is situated in rural Essex just north of Chigwell at Lambourne End Outdoor Centre. Lambourne End is a fantastic outdoor activity centre where children and teenagers can enjoy themselves in complete safety.

How to get there
Children can be dropped off by car at camp from 9.00am and must be collected by 5.00pm.
However, car park space is limited so to prevent any unnecessary congestion on the roads and to avoid the children being late for the activities and parents being late for work it would be advisable to take advantage of the coach service provided.
We are offering two coach routes this Easter where your children will be collected and dropped off. Route one will start at Chingford Plain (Stop 1) and then at Hawkey Hall in Woodford (Stop 2). Route two will go straight from Forest YMCA to Lambourne End. Each coach is supervised by a staff member and seat belts are fitted to all seats. The coach charge is £6 per day. The coach service has to be pre-booked.

Many children say that the coach journey is a fun way to start the day as they sing songs and play games until they arrive at camp.
Coach times
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so the coach can leave on time.
Route One: Chingford Plains (Stop 1) at 8.25am or Hawkey Hall (Stop 2) at 8.40am Route Two: Forest YMCA building at 8.30am
The children will be arriving back at your chosen route between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.Please be there to collect your child on time.
We do advise you to use the coach service provided as parking spaces at Lambourne End are limited.
